Summit Imaging Ranks Number 77 on the 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies List

SEATTLE, WA – Oct. 14, 2012 – Puget Sound Business Journal announced that Summit Imaging, Inc. ranked number 22 on the 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies list at an awards event at Meydenbauer Center on Oct. 13. The event, which drew nearly 500 people, announced and honored all 100 companies on the list and revealed each company’s ranking. The 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies are listed, with select companies profiled, in a special publication of the Business Journal on Oct. 15.

The Fastest-Growing Private Companies program was launched 16 years ago by the Puget Sound Business Journal to identify and recognize companies speeding to the top of their industries. To be eligible, companies must: be privately held and headquartered in Washington; have at least $500,000 in net revenue in 2007; show an overall growth from 2007 to 2009 fiscal years; and agree to have their CPA confirm their net operating revenues with Puget Sound Business Journal.

"The companies that make this list are, by definition, among the most dynamic in our region," said Business Journal Publisher Emory Thomas Jr. "Especially this year, they have beaten the odds imposed by the Great Recession, making membership on this elite list all the more impressive. These companies are showing all of us what qualities it takes to grow in challenging times."

“It is an honor to receive this award, especially in the company of the other 99 recipients. This is a testament to our tenacity to improve ourselves as individuals and as a company. I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished, but the work will never be over as our drive to continually improve will never end.” -Lawrence Nguyen, President

The 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies program is presented by the Puget Sound Business Journal and sponsored by Chase, Lane Powell, Robert Half International, and Sound Mental Health.

Summit Imaging, Inc. has a strong reputation of providing high quality ultrasound parts, probes, and service to healthcare facilities. Our success if based upon several key elements:

It is cliché, but our attention dedicated to customer service is of the utmost importance. We are straight forward and honest when communicating with our clients. Our ability to repair everything in-house makes this communication simple and seamless, as our clients are speaking directly to the ones who are repairing their equipment.

Our ability to repair everything in-house also gives us the ability to standardize pricing and control quality. Our pricing is not only competitive, but is always standard as all parts and transducers are repaired in-house, eliminating outside parties flex. This makes any part or probe you may be interested in purchasing the same price whether you purchase it now, or months down the road.

The technical support team at Summit Imaging, Inc. is the best in the business. When our technical support staff is not helping a client over the phone, they are in the shop repairing systems. This keeps the technicians immersed in the product, and therefor becoming experts. The technical support service is complementary to our customers, eliminating the need to initialize a service call.

Summit Imaging, Inc.’s inventory is strong. We strive to have parts and transducers in-stock, making next day delivery simple to reduce system downtime.
